Divya Seshamani is a Private Equity investor. Educated at Oxford (BA (Hons) in Politics Philosophy and Economics) and at Harvard (MBA, the Harvard Business School), Ms Seshamani has worked at board level on a number of small companies in the US and UK.
An active member of Chatham House, Ms Seshamani served for two consecutive terms on the Chatham House Under-35's Steering Committee prior to her election to council.
Ms Seshamani began her career as an Investment Banker in mergers and acquisitions at Goldman Sachs followed by The Parthenon Group, a principal investment and strategy consulting firm. At Parthenon, Ms Seshamani was involved with their Venture Capital technology fund followed by private equity advisory and strategy consulting.
Ms Seshamani followed her career in professional services by raising and acting as founding partner of a mid-market Private Equity fund focused on the consumer product and publishing sectors which successfully made three significant investments in the US.
Most recently Ms Seshamani was a Principal with Unilever Ventures, Unilever PLCs venture capital arm where she focused on the evaluation and execution of deals as well as portfolio management.
Ms Seshamani is currently with the Global Infrastructure Group in Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, GIC, where she is involved in making large scale direct investments in infrastructure globally.
