The Chatham House library holds a specialist collection of books, periodicals and electronic resources covering international relations, and international aspects of economics, security and resource governance. The collection focuses on contemporary issues as well as holding core publications dating back to the 1920s.

Christmas and New Year Opening Times
The Library will be closed from 24 December until 4 January 2015, and will reopen on Monday 5 January at 10.00. Access to electronic resources via the eLibrary will be available during this time.

Admissions Policy

Individual Members (Full, Family, Under 35 and Student Members)

Use of the library, borrowing rights, and access to the eLibrary are included in Chatham House membership.

Web Members

Web members have access to selected eLibrary resources, and are entitled to two visits to the library per year.

Corporate Nominees

Use of the library, borrowing rights, and access to the eLibrary are included as part of corporate membership.

Corporate Open Tickets / NGO Passes

Use of the library - reference only.

Non-members

Non-members must demonstrate a research need to access material held in the Chatham House library. Please contact the Library Team in advance to arrange access.
