* To qualify for student membership you must be a student with at least three months of your course left to study and not in full time employment.

Those studying with an Academic Institutional Member (AIM) of Chatham House are eligible for AIM Student Membership and will pay a reduced annual fee of £100. View a list of AIMs here. To apply as an AIM student please contact the Membership Team.

** To qualify for family membership you must have family who are already members.

2015 Fees and Renewals

New individual membership fees will come into effect for those due to renew on or after 1 January 2015. Current members can renew at 2014 prices if the renewal fee is paid by 19 December 2014.

Current members with fewer than 3 months remaining on their membership can renew online via their Members Dashboard. Current members with more than 3 months remaining on their membership should contact the Membership Team.

Members who auto-renew by Direct Debit need not take action. From 1 January 2015, you will be able to save up to £35 on your renewal and will receive more information closer to your renewal date. 

Member Benefits

Members have access to Chatham House publications, Members Events, the Library, and all our Multimedia resources. For more details download the Individual membership flyer: 

 and go through a formal election process (which takes up to two weeks) before being approved. Access to benefits (including attending events) will be available only once membership has been approved.  

Membership can be purchased as a gift or you can let us know about someone you think may be interested in membership by referring them.
