Nominees Breakfast Briefing
Dr Kerry Brown, Head, Asia Programme, Chatham House
The year 2012 sees a transition of the party congress to a new generation of top leaders in China. Dr Kerry Brown will explore what this means for domestic and international policy, with 70 per cent of the ruling elite in the party replaced by younger officials with different views and outlooks. Will we see radical change or more of the same? What surprises might we prepare ourselves for?
Attendance is strictly by invitation only.
To enable as open a debate as possible, this event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
