Prospects for economic growth in sub-Saharan Africa remain strong and with investor confidence in high-income countries weak, businesses around the world are increasingly interested in investment opportunities in Africa. Helen Zille, the leader of the Democratic Alliance and the premier of the Western Cape, the second main economic centre in South Africa, will argue that in a changing world, businesses need to redefine their interest and investment approaches in sub-Saharan Africa, and that South Africa is an increasingly important partner of choice for countries around the world seeking to engage in Africa.
