As the northernmost state in Nigeria's northwest, and bordering the Republic of Niger, Sokoto State has a central role in responding to some of the key challenges facing Nigeria. At this event the Governor of Sokoto State will discuss some of these issues, including security threats and development aims. He will outline his government's role and policies in responding to these issues, and offer his thoughts on Nigeria's future.
