The Africa Programme aims to expand its research, analysis and networks on peace and security in Africa.
The Africa Programme carries out policy-focused research and analysis on a range of themes relating to Nigeria's complex politics and interconnected challenges, to inform decision-making on what is arguably the most strategically important country in Africa.
Since 2003, this project has aimed to inform the international debate on the extractives industry in the Gulf of Guinea region, from Angola to Guinea.
This project examines key aspects and changes within UK policy towards Africa, particularly in the fields of politics and trade.
This project is currently focussed on improving international engagement in the Horn of Africa. 
The Angola Forum informs international policy related to Angola and anticipates emerging trends in the countries emerging regional and international policy.  
The Africa Programme utilizes its strong contacts with governmental and non-governmental actors across Africa and around the world to help generate a better understanding of the changing dynamics of the African political and economic landscape.
This project intends to help policy makers, the commercial sector and others understand the changing dynamics of maritime security risk around the African coast.
