Our work on Libya focuses on scenarios for political transition, state building and economic reconstruction in Libya.
The Chatham House Libya Working Group, established in February 2011 and convened by Sir Richard Dalton, meets regularly throughout the year and seeks to widen the framework of political debate on Libya, leading to innovative policy recommendations which influence critical policy decisions.
Transition Process
The Libya Working Group met recently to examine questions on electoral politics, power sharing, transitional justice and the economy. A summary presents the findings.
