Felix Preston is a research fellow at Chatham House. He works on energy and climate policy and security, focusing on low carbon transition in developing countries. He also works on transformational strategies for resource governance, including the use of technology and systems in the ‘circular economy’. Felix was a coordinator and researcher for a high-level ‘Low Carbon Industrialisation Strategy Task Force’ in China, which reported in 2011. He was a geo-fellow and contributing author for the Global Environment Outlook report, published by the UN Environment Programme in 2012. He previously worked as a senior consultant at AEA Technology where he focused on EU energy security and the impacts of climate change in China. He has an MSc in environmental technology from Imperial College London.
