The PANDORA consortium aims to develop and strengthen outbreak response capacities across sub-Saharan Africa, in partnership with national governments and other international stakeholders.

The Pan-African Network For Rapid Research, Response, Relief and Preparedness for Infectious Disease Epidemics is a novel multidisciplinary ‘One Health’ initiative consisting of 13 African institutions and 9 European institutions, including Chatham House.

The Centre leads on the consortium’s efforts to engage policy makers, global public health bodies and communities, focusing on the ethical, administrative, regulatory and operational obstacles during outbreaks.
