Transformative Policies Towards Syria (2018-2020)

The project aimed to increase engagement between experts and provide opportunities for interaction in public debate around international policies towards Syria.

A United Nations and Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) convoy delivers aid packagesin the rebel-held town of Nashabiyah in eastern Ghouta for the first time in five years on 30 July 2017.

Supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Transformative Policies Towards Syria built on research generated through the Syria from Within project and extended the ground-based analyses of internal dynamics in Syria available through the Syria from Within online platform.

The project provided policymakers, influencers, and wider stakeholders with timely research findings geared towards shaping more effective and sustainable policies as they reflect dynamics and needs on the ground.
