Biography
Anum Farhan is a programme manager with the Environment and Society Centre at Chatham House. Her work focuses on water and climate security, and she has regional expertise on South Asia. Anum manages the Fair Water Footprints partnership, working with governments, corporates and civil society organizations to strengthen water governance in supply chains.
Before joining Chatham House in 2020, Anum worked at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change on counter-extremism programming across sub-Saharan Africa. She has also worked on issues of peacebuilding, international development, gender and migration at Interpeace and Amnesty International.
Anum has an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London and a BA in History from Durham University.
