Biography

Chanu Peiris is assistant director of the International Law Programme where she focuses on international human rights law.

Previously, she worked in NGOs, legal aid clinics, and research and policy organizations where she looked at rule of law and human rights issues. She is a qualified Australian lawyer with a BA in French and Social Theory & Anthropology, and a Juris Doctor from The University of Melbourne.
