Biography
As part of the Global Health Programme, Danai provides analysis on the intersection of public health and migration policies in Europe. In her current research, she examines how legal status affects access to healthcare in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak and how coronavirus regulations interplay with migration and asylum policies on the ground.
Prior to joining Chatham House, Danai completed a PhD on security and humanitarian models of migration management at Queen Mary University of London under the Queen Mary Principal’s Studentship. She received her MA in Critical and Creative Analysis from Goldsmiths University of London under an Onassis Foundation Scholarship.
