Biography
Effrosyni (Frini) Chantzi brings expertise on the political economy of universal health coverage (UHC) and on health system reforms. Her research primarily examines issues of health financing, governance, and health security.
In the past, Frini worked for UN Women in Europe and Central Asia undertaking research, policy analysis and project management, focusing on the peace and security agenda and on social protection, with special interest in health investments. Frini was also part of the UK National Preparedness Commission advising governments on biosecurity in emergency settings.
