Biography
Gaia Reyes is a consultant at UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality, and is based in New York. She works on communications and digital strategy in the Executive Office where she focuses on new ways of engaging the next generation to the work of the United Nations, the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and issues of gender equality.
Previously, she completed a joint internship in the Ending Violence Against Women policy division at UN Women and The Spotlight Initiative, a global partnership between the European Union and the United Nations to combat gender-based violence.
Gaia graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2019 with a BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences, specialising in Politics and Social Anthropology. Her research interests lie at the juncture of international policy, technology and human rights.
