Biography

Major James Ashton (Educational and Training Services) is the CGS Army Research Fellow at Chatham House. His varied career has ranged from military linguist to managing training design and development. He has worked in operational planning roles both in the UK and abroad.

He has an MSc in Educational Innovation (University of Southampton) and an MA in International Security (King’s College London).
