Biography
Dr Jente Althuis is an academy associate in the US and the Americas Programme. Her research at Chatham House focuses on public diplomacy, strategic communications, NATO, and its 2022 Strategic Concept.
Jente formerly worked at the King’s Centre for Strategic Communications in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, and the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence in Riga, Latvia. She received her PhD in War Studies from King’s College London, investigating the use of urban space and architecture during the struggle against apartheid in Johannesburg, South Africa.
