Dr Mimi Ajibadé

Mimi is a corporate governance expert and sinologist specializing in UK corporate law and Chinese corporate law. She runs Intrepid Corporate Consultancy Limited which delivers multi-lingual (English-Chinese) geo-culturally focused corporate governance advice. In academe, she is a research associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and facilitates the Centre of East Asian Law. 

She holds a PhD in corporate law and governance with a focus on China, from SOAS. She is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Mimi has held a number of senior roles as a corporate and organizational governance expert advising listed companies and not-for-profit organizations and has held senior management positions at Psion Plc, Paladin Resources Plc, and Manganese Bronze Holdings Plc. She has written both feature and technical articles on corporate governance practice. Mimi is proficient in written and spoken (Mandarin) Chinese, with conversational Yoruba and Hausa.
