Biography
Taj is a medical doctor with postgraduate qualifications in pediatrics and public health. Additionally, he has academic and working knowledge of health system management, performance management, result-based management, diplomacy, maternal and child adolescent, health in humanitarian emergencies and project management.
Taj is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians with over 18 years of experience in child and public health of which 14 years is at senior level. He has worked in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia.
Additionally, Taj has strong experience working on programmes and projects for different international organizations. He has organized and managed high-level international meetings and advanced concrete action on health and development issues.
Taj has also built, led and coordinated teams at teaching hospitals, specialist hospitals, the African Union and the Africa CDC.
