Biography
Tara Sepehri Far is an associate fellow of the Middle East and North Africa Programme at Chatham House. She is a senior researcher in the Middle East and North Africa Division at Human Rights Watch, where she researches human rights abuses in the region and in particular in Iran and Kuwait. She publishes analysis and comments on human rights policymaking for a variety of media and academic outlets.
Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she was the Deputy Director of the Human Rights in Iran Unit at the City University of New York, where she worked on a project supporting the mandate of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran.
