Chatham House is organizing a series of three conferences on the theme of ‘Security in the Asia-Pacific’.

This project brings together world-class experts to discuss the key strategies, national attributes and international dynamics that have influenced the security dynamics of the region. With the aim of deepening the understanding of the public and policy-makers alike of the key security dynamics in the Asia-Pacific, this project is divided into three sub-themes:

  1. Security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.
  2. Security architectures in the Asia-Pacific: regional responses.
  3. Maritime security and the rule of law in the Asia-Pacific and beyond.
