The Fossil Fuels Expert Roundtable (FFER) series brings together a high-level network of experts for a series of 12 roundtables per annum focusing on issues and challenges for the fossil fuels industry. Running since 2008, the FFER series incorporates experts from business, policy and academia, aiming to create an open, honest, and cross-sectoral dialogue on issues and events of significance. 

Speakers within the FFER series over recent years have included guests from all corners of the globe and include prominent figures such as: Adam Sieminski, the eighth administrator of the US Energy Information Administration; Xu Xiaojie, Head of International Energy Program, China Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing; Andrew Gould, Former Chairman and CEO, Schlumberger; Professor Han Wenke, Director General of Energy Research Institute, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China; Ivetta Gerasimchuk and Mikhail Babenko from the International Institute for Sustainable Development and WWF Russia; and Martin Young, Head of Emergency Policy Division at the International Energy Agency.
