The Libya Working Group focused on scenarios for political transition, state building and economic reconstruction in Libya.

Libya Working Group, established in February 2011 and convened by Sir Richard Dalton, met every 2 to 3 months throughout the year and sought to widen the framework of political debate on Libya, bringing together experts from a wide range of backgrounds and sectors and providing a forum for the sharing of expertise and the debate of new ideas. Meetings took the form of multi-disciplinary roundtable discussions, held under the Chatham House Rule.
