The Molchanov Sustainability Internship Programme

The Molchanov Sustainability Internship Programme at Chatham House is possible following the gift of Pavel Molchanov.

A gift of Pavel Molchanov supports four Chatham House internships for young people interested in sustainability issues.

Mr Molchanov has also pledged a legacy to Chatham House’s Fund for the Future to ensure that the programme will continue on a permanent basis.

Mr Molchanov said he was delighted to be helping to develop future leaders in the field of sustainability.

‘Climate change, as one of the defining issues of our time and for generations to come, should be studied in all its many dimensions – some that are well-known, and others that are below the radar.’

‘From developing renewable energy technologies and managing scarce water resources, to designing green buildings and much more, the challenges and opportunities are vast.’

By placing this internship program on a firm footing permanently, it is my hope that young people interested in exploring this field will always look to Chatham House as a place to receive a solid grounding early in their career.
