The Russia and Eurasia Programme at Chatham House is looking for an individual with demonstrated interest in (and knowledge of) the politics, economies and societies of the former Soviet states.
The Russia and Eurasia Programme is looking for an individual with demonstrated interest in (and knowledge of) the politics, economies and societies of the former Soviet states.
The successful applicant will be an integral part of the Chatham House Russia and Eurasia Programme’s team and gain valuable experience in a policy institute from supporting its current projects, events and activities. We are looking for someone who is well organized, capable, flexible and has excellent command of the English and Russian languages.
The position is unpaid and is for a period of three months. The hours are flexible, however, we are looking for a candidate who can commit to 2-3 days per week. The cost of travel to and from work (within TfL zones 1-6) is covered for the amount of time worked, and lunch is provided. The successful applicant would have unique access to almost all relevant research meetings and seminars within the institute on a variety of international affairs related topics, and particularly meetings within the Russia and Eurasia Programme.
