Larry Stone is President of Group Public and Government Affairs at BT Group plc responsible for public affairs for the group globally, with people in London, Brussels, Washington, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He is on the boards of The Transatlantic Business Council and BritishAmerican Business, and a member of the Strategic Council of the European Policy Centre (EPC). He was on the Global Agenda Council on the Future of Government of the World Economic Forum from 2008-2014. Previously he worked for BT in Brussels and Tokyo for nearly a decade, in business development and regulatory roles, and before that at Cellnet mobile. He has degrees in Law and Communications Policy and is a member of the Japan Society and of the Honourable Artillery Company in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Telecommunications Professionals.
