Overview

From Nigeria’s north east, to the middle-belt and the Niger Delta, violent conflict of different kinds and with different drivers has rocked communities up and down the country. In many cases conflicts have yet to be sustainably resolved and many communities struggle to peacefully rebuild in the absence of mechanisms for reconciliation and avenues for justice. This Nigeria APPG panel discussion will examine efforts to improve access to justice for communities affected by instability and violent conflict. With an emphasis on community-based justice and reconciliation interventions, and the international community’s support for such schemes, this event will explore the efforts of agencies working in Nigeria, and discuss areas of concern.

Please note that the time of the event has changed to 16.30-17.30.

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL AND REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
