Changing demographics in the United States and Europe are putting increasing pressure on health services and pensions programmes across the Atlantic.

For this reason and others, demographics are having a profound effect on the resources states can attribute to deal with growing global challenges. Peter Orszag will draw on his vast experience to provide insights into some of the effects these changes will have.

This event is part of the US Project’s series on US and European Perspectives on Common Economic Challenges. Conducted with the support of the Bank of New York Mellon, this series examines some of the principal global challenges that we face today and potentially differing perspectives from across Europe and the US.
