Overview

This workshop will discuss the prospect of economic growth in the eurozone, with a particular focus on the Italian economy and the role it can play. CER research findings will also be discussed on this issue, as well as measures to recover growth, economic competitiveness and business confidence, both at the national and eurozone level.

The workshop will also assess the state of the banking system in Italy and in the eurozone, in light of reforms which are currently being implemented, including the establishment of the first leg of the banking union, the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) and the results of the review of the major Eurozone banks (Asset Quality Review) in autumn 2014.

The event is run in partnership with Centro Europa Ricerche (CER) and is supported by eni.
