On 23 June 2016, Britain voted decisively to leave the European Union after 43 years of membership. With preparations for negotiations with the EU now underway, there are significant uncertainties about the future shape of the UK’s economic relationship with the EU, and concerns about the implications for the financial services sector.
The speaker will outline key issues and priorities for negotiations in this field, including financial passporting rights. This is part of a series run by the Europe Programme on ‘Britain and Europe: The Post-Referendum Agenda’.
Attendance at this event is strictly by invitation only.
