This conference will examine the role of the diamond industry in Botswana’s development and the need for economic diversification away from diamond extraction in the long-term. The panels will discuss the significance of public-private partnerships, such as the one between Botswana's government and De Beers, in assisting growth, and how responsible resource management safeguards the benefits of resource extraction for future generations.

This conference is in partnership with the government of Botswana and De Beers Group of Companies. The event will be livestreamed on the conference website.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
