Paul Stevens will argue that the business model of international oil companies (IOCs) appears to be going obsolete, identifying  a financial model that under-prices risk and a loss of a technological and managerial edge as factors contributing to decline.

The expert panel will discuss the significance of these concerns and what this might mean for the future of IOCs. In addition, the panel will explore what options might be available as a corporate strategy to avert their collapse.

This event will be followed by a drinks reception.
