Defence and Security Reviews: A Minister's View
Sir Nick will discuss his experience as minister of state for the armed forces during the 2010 strategic defence and security review, and what lessons this might hold for future reviews.
This is the first of a series of meetings on UK defence policy in its international context, which aims to inform and illuminate the policy debate over the coming months. The series considers the formulation of defence policy as a highly political process, and will explore how political, economic and presentational factors interact to shape policy. It provides an opportunity for policy-makers and expert observers to have a frank and private discussion about how policy may evolve in coming months.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
