The Economic Costs of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Chatham House, London

Middle East and North Africa Programme

Overview

The cross-generational conflict between Israelis and Palestinians has been a defining feature of the Middle East over the past half-century. It has also been one of the most costly, with billions of dollars invested to support, oppose or seek a resolution to the conflict. Speakers at this meeting will focus on the economic costs related to the conflict and discuss the costs and benefits over the next 10 years of five alternative trajectories.

This meeting follows a RAND Corporation study looking at the cost of conflict for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
