This event, held in partnership with the Daiwa Institute of Research, will discuss economic uncertainty and the limits to national governance, offering perspectives from both Japan and the UK. Individual sessions will focus on the UK’s Brexit challenge and its impact on UK-Japan relations, as well as the challenges for monetary and fiscal policy during periods of low inflation.
