Professor David Reynolds, Professor of International History, Fellow of Christ's College, University of Cambridge
Chair: Alastair Niven LVO OBE, Honorary Fellow, Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford; Chair, The Annual Register Board
To mark the centenary of the Bolshevik seizure of power, Professor David Reynolds will consider how a series of revolutions since 1917 have shaped Russia's history and will argue that Britain and the West have often struggled to understand the country's unique experience of the twentieth century.
