Overview

The government of Equatorial Guinea is seeking to diversify the economy away from a reliance on crude oil. The Horizon 2020 development plan, financed through the Social Development Fund, seeks to create sustainable development through building infrastructure and improving healthcare and education. The plan recognises the importance of international cooperation and expertise.

At this roundtable, Hon César Mba Abogo will discuss the implementation of the Horizon 2020 plan and the role that regional and international actors can play.
