Overview

The EU has significantly increased its assistance to Ukraine since the Euromaidan Revolution. It is involved in various structural reforms in Ukraine, in particular in strengthening the efficiency, independence and accountability of Ukrainian institutions. In addition to micro-financial assistance, roughly 200 million euros is provided each year in EU grants to support Ukraine’s reform programme. Can the EU achieve a transformative impact in Ukraine? What is its contribution in building key capacities in governance to date? How can conditionality and assistance be improved?

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
