This event saw the launch of a report by Chatham House, Bruegel, the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong on EU-China economic relations to 2025.
The event discussed some of the outcomes of the report, including the potential for an EU-China FTA, the development of bilateral investment flows, reciprocity issues, intellectual property, and the impact of high-level strategies such as China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
The EU-China 2025 project is supported by Huawei and GlaxoSmithKline.
