Fossil Fuels Expert Roundtable: The UK General Election and Implications for International Energy Policy

Chatham House, London

The upcoming UK election will have significant implications for the future of UK energy policy. The UK's relationship with Europe, and with it the future of the energy union and EU level action on energy security, is a central theme of this election. There are also a range of starkly different proposals for energy market regulation across the different parties which may have significant implications for future fossil fuel investment.

This Fossil Fuels Expert Roundtable will seek to explore the potential implications of different election outcomes for the international aspects of future UK policy, and identify key risks and opportunities for the next government. Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
