FRELIMO's Vision for Mozambique's Future
In October 2014, Mozambicans will vote in their country’s fifth multiparty parliamentary and presidential elections. The recent discovery of large natural gas reserves has raised expectations of the country’s economic future. In the run-up to the polls, identifying strategies to reduce youth unemployment and encourage inclusive growth are key concerns for political parties. Mozambique’s next elections will be the first to take place while there is politically-driven violence in some parts of the country.
Filipe Nyusi, the presidential candidate for FRELIMO, will discuss his party’s priorities for Mozambique’s growth and development.
