Overview

With France experiencing near-zero economic growth, high levels of unemployment and large public debt, the Hollande administration faces the challenge of reviving the economy and has come under increasing pressure from Brussels to bring its budgets within EU rules. The speakers will consider whether France’s political structures could be hindering economic recovery and what reforms could help to solve the nation’s economic and political challenges.
