Global dietary trends are on an unsustainable path. Malnutrition – from undernourishment to obesity – is affecting every country on earth and placing more than one quarter of the world’s population at serious health risk. Furthermore, our current patterns of producing and consuming food are driving climate change and threatening scarce natural resources.
During this expert roundtable discussion, experts from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and Chatham House will present findings from recently released research. A broad selection of experts from the fields of food security, nutrition and the environment will analyze a range of approaches currently being taken, and will further inform the debate around what constitutes a healthy, nutritious and sustainable diet for all.
