The Impact of Meat and Dairy Consumption on Climate Change: Policy, Public Understanding and Behaviour

Chatham House, London

Energy, Environment and Resources Department, Diet and Climate Change

Overview

This event forms part of an ongoing international research project that seeks to explore public understanding and behaviour in relation to meat and dairy consumption and its impact on greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) and to propose national and international strategies that may reduce the share of GHGs attributed to meat- and dairy-intensive diets.

This event will present findings of the project to date and engage key UK stakeholders – drawn from government, the private sector, academia and civil society – in a discussion about policies and measures that could reduce GHG emissions associated with meat and dairy consumption.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
