The Greek Ministry of Health in coordination with the Ministry of Migration Policy has committed to ensuring integration of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants into the national health system. However, challenges remain - some specific to this population and others more broadly for many vulnerable communities in Greece. Against the backdrop of current reforms to the Greek health system and the financial pressures, this roundtable will examine the availability of relevant services for migrants and refugees in Greece, the barriers they face in accessing them and what strategies are being - or could be - implemented at the national and international level to overcome these barriers.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
