Investing in Azerbaijan and Russia: What Should Western Oil Companies Expect?

This event will analyse the changing investment patterns of Western oil companies investing in the energy sectors of Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as associated political risks and conditions for commercially and legally viable interaction. The event will also examine the consequences of the increasing capital and asset exposure of Russian and Azerbaijani companies, and competition between South Stream and the Southern Gas Corridor. Ilya Zaslavskiy will offer initial remarks for approximately 15 minutes, followed by an hour for questions and discussion.
