Israel and a Changing Middle East
Dan Meridor, Deputy Prime Minister of Israel and Minister of Intelligence and Atomic Energy (2009–13)
Against the backdrop of the Iran nuclear deal, falling oil prices, the conflicts in Syria, Yemen and Iraq and the emergence of ISIS, Dan Meridor will discuss how recent changes in Middle Eastern geopolitics might affect Israel’s foreign policy.
Meridor will further analyse how the Israel-Palestine situation could impact such policies and outline a number of actions that might be considered to help to end the conflict.
