The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: No End in Sight?
Gideon Levy, Columnist, Haaretz
Yezid Sayigh, Senior Associate, Carnegie Middle East Center
Chair: Dr Claire Spencer, Head, Middle East and North Africa Programme, Chatham House
After the failure of US-brokered peace talks in May, a 50-day conflict in Gaza left more than 2,200 dead, and hardened opinions on both sides. Gideon Levy, who has been a vocal critic of Israel’s actions in Gaza, will be joined by Yezid Sayigh to discuss the future of the peace process and reflect on whether the two-state solution has been dealt a significant setback.
