Japan and its Neighbours: Is Reconciliation Possible?

The speaker will argue that Japan’s relationships with both China and Korea are at their lowest point since the end of World War II. In addition to current frictions, the issue of contested history has been worsening. The speaker will also assess the potential for current tensions to result in political or military confrontation.
